A geologist and entrepreneur, Miles had extensive industry experience before pursuing exploration independently. With a philosophy based on innovation and collaboration, Miles is committed to meaningful partnerships, cost-effective operations, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
Isabel Davies
Owner/Co-Founder
An experienced geophysicist, Isabel worked in industry for majors in both the UK and US before partnering with Miles for independent exploration ventures. As a subject matter expert with an exacting eye for detail, Isabel is a valuable asset to the Reach technical and leadership team.
Jim McKenny
President
Jim is a geologist who grew up in the oil and gas industry. Before partnering with Reach, Jim had a number of successful ventures as an independent producer in Oklahoma. Committed to a people-focused approach to business and a science-based approach to exploration, Jim is focused on long-term value, sustainable performance, and steady growth.
Matt Smith
Land Manager
From leasing, regulatory filings, permitting, and landowner relations, Matt handles all things land for Reach. Prior to joining Reach, Matt had worked with a number of industry brokers and operators including Herv Oil and Haggard Land Company.
Russell Forsander
Operations Manager
With nearly a decade of experience in management of operations for independent producers, Russell is responsible for everything from regulatory compliance, seismic planning and acquisition, pre-drilling logistics, and operations management post-completion.
Tony Montalvo
Administration Manager
Tony’s efforts are focused on capital management, financial reporting, project accounting, investor relations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, as well as oversight of assets and billing transactions on all of Reach’s projects.
Marcie Chavez
Landman
Previous to joining Reach Oil & Gas Marcie managed Centennial Land Company. Now a skilled landman in the oil and gas industry with experience in document management, title research, and lease administration. She plays a key role in maintaining compliance and supporting efficient land operations for Reach Oil & Gas.
Brian Cole
Production Superintendent
Brian is an experienced operator and is responsible for all post-completion activities in the field. Committed to communication and safety, Brian is focused on efficiency and quality measures in the field.
Kyle Johnson
Drilling Operations Manager
Kyle oversees all drilling operations for Reach. With decades of experience on drilling sites as a mud logger, Kyle is well-equipped to mitigate risk by anticipating issues before they arise. His commitment to quality and long-standing relationships with high-caliber field crews has established a standard of excellence for Reach drilling.
